The F12 Berlinetta replaced the 599 GTB and was the fastest road car Ferrari had ever built at its introduction, quicker around Fiorano than both the Enzo and the 599 GTO. The 6.3 litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 730 ps at 8,250 rpm through a seven-speed DCT to the rear wheels. Compared to the 599 the F12 is 50 mm shorter, 20 mm narrower, 70 kg lighter and noticeably more agile. The Active Brake Cooling system channels cool air directly to the carbon ceramic brakes via ducts in the front bumper. The magnetorheological dampers adjust their stiffness in milliseconds based on road conditions. Ferrari built the F12 from 2012 to 2017.

Fun fact: the V12 is mounted as far back and as low in the chassis as possible, placing the centre of gravity lower than in most mid-engined cars.

Ten opzichte van de 599 is de F12 50 mm korter, 20 mm smaller, 70 kg lichter en merkbaar handelbaarder. Het Active Brake Cooling systeem stuurt koele lucht actief naar de carbon keramische remmen via kanalen in de voorbumper. De magnetorheologische dempers passen hun stijfheid in milliseconden aan op basis van het wegdek. Ferrari bouwde de F12 van 2012 tot 2017.

Leuk detail: de V12 zit zo ver mogelijk naar achteren en laag in het chassis gemonteerd, wat het zwaartepunt lager legt dan in de meeste middenmotor auto's.

Par rapport à la 599, la F12 est 50 mm plus courte, 20 mm plus étroite, 70 kg plus légère et sensiblement plus agile. Le système Active Brake Cooling dirige l'air frais directement vers les freins en carbone céramique via des conduits dans le pare-chocs avant. Anecdote: le V12 est monté le plus en arrière et le plus bas possible dans le châssis, ce qui place le centre de gravité plus bas que dans la plupart des voitures à moteur central.
